在理事会工作汇报环节，韩冰秘书长回顾了北京大学汇丰商学院英国校区的建立与发展，总结全英校友会一年以来的重点工作和发展概况。校友会致力于服务校友工作与生活，整合各界资源衔接中英校友，承接了校区大型活动如北大120周年海外校庆与年会，与在英其他协会展开交流与合作，成功举办了未名讲坛和博雅沙龙以及娱乐联谊活动等。其中博雅沙龙论坛致力于促进各领域之间的思维碰撞与校友之间深度交流，目前已经成功举办三期，涉及清洁能源、激光成像以及金融科技等领域。校友会将继续完善校友会及各地分会结构，完善校友信息及分组，加强发挥各界校友力量，进一步发展校友活动。韩冰秘书长结合校友会现状，对校友会的未来发展做出计划和展望。
第三个环节是校友故事和经验分享。本次年会新增燕园吐槽大会环节，分享能够引起大家共鸣的内容。主持人在年会现场分享了一位匿名校友关于北大必修课文科计算机的趣事，激起了参会校友的强烈共鸣，全程引发大家的笑声和掌声。
在主题演讲环节，英国皇家艺术学院博士在读、艺术领域研究员聂小依校友结合个人经历做文化艺术讲座。聂校友讲述了《读风景的人》这一假杂志发行计划背后的故事。书中收录了8封信和17封回信，这是一个在10天内发生在电子邮件平台上项目，探讨了倾诉与对话的意义
汉学家、历史学家，大英图书馆中文典藏部前主任吴芳思校友（Dr. Francis Wood）讲述了1975-1976年在北大的学习经历以及其撰写的关于中国印象和北大印象的著作。吴校友还在年会现场展示了一系列珍贵的照片，将照片背后的故事娓娓道来，让年轻一代的校友对70年代的北大有了更清晰的印象。

富国良校友（Founder & CEO of GeneFirst）讲述了本科、博士、博士后以及工作阶段的经历，分享了职业生涯中的经验和心得以及公司创业的经验。富校友同时介绍了液体活检领域的相关背景以及其创办的GeneFirst的主要业务。最后，牛津大学惠康人类遗传研究中心博士后研究员甘蔚博士针对目前热议的“基因编辑婴儿”事件，回顾了这一事件的发展历程，讲述生物学家的集体公关，并分享了热点下如何做科学传播的看法。
会后，校友们在校区大厅用餐，继续交流和讨论。

2018年6月10日，从伦敦、牛津等地远道而来的校友与剑桥校友及其亲朋共四十余人，聚首剑桥大学达尔文学院（Darwin College），以BBQ和punting之名共享英国清爽宜人的夏日时光。
11点，距BBQ约定开始时间还有一个小时，提前到场的志愿者小伙伴已然开始筹备工作，布置场地、清洗食材、搭建烤炉，一切按部就班有序进行。早到的同学，或享用水果饮品，或与新旧老友寒暄两语，不知不觉中校友们陆续赶到，剑河畔袅袅炊烟升起，BBQ正式启动！
有经验的老司机不由分说烤得十分带劲，围观的小鲜肉看得跃跃欲试，随时准备接手。
这边红红火火香火不断，那边随着一波波烤肉来袭而高潮迭起，大家风卷残云般的战斗力实在不可小觑。
大快朵颐的同时，还可以品尝自制的冰凉果酒，开启把酒言欢模式，何其美哉。
酒饱饭足，已至下午三时。半数人马先行前往punting，留守的校友继续烤着肉聊着天，晒晒太阳吹吹风。
更有校友即兴弹奏吉他，平添几分雅兴。
想要一睹美如画的剑桥和拉近彼此间的距离，没有什么比一起punting更合适的了，一遭走下来也算是有过休戚与共的经历了。
相信每一位北大人都将自己灵魂的一部分献给了母校，彼此依偎让同在异乡的我们获得了一丝灵魂归属。活动慢慢接近尾声，曲终人不散。抬头仰望熟悉的蓝天，感受清风拂过脸颊，不由得脚步变得轻盈起来。
